If you are looking for contacts at companies, research groups, publications, projects, patents or clinical trials, we now have a solution that makes your life a whole lot easier!

When you run a search query, by default we include synonyms for your search terms. Note: synonyms come from MeSH and a gene database.
However, some search terms can include undesired synonyms (e.g. synonyms of ‘CAR’ include Cmar, car1… but also automobile). Especially for acronyms (of genes, diseases, technologies, drugs…) this can introduce more noise.
Yet as of now, you can choose to ignore synonyms! You can of course still copy key synonyms and use the OR operator to build an optimal query.
A 2nd way to cancel noise is by using the Exclude button on the right side of the search bar.
Add any term or phrase and all results that contain those will be removed from your results set.
